Reppin' the other side.

Sheras video was really well thought-out, or at least thats how I found it. The back drop of the cityscape being ravaged by dinosaurs is very Wes Anderson in a way. The color as good, we discussed using interview to better tie in the Crepe cafe but I think now that a more creative way could be done, even in the mode of a card at the end of the piece, this retroactive tie in is risky but can be done with more information surrounding. Like why is Max so intrareg to you? What makes him be atypical? something like that could prove effective.

Mellisa's film was shit, my first school, witch I have a degree in fine art from. We were more critical in the CRITS. Now I'm not saying were not, but everybody at UIUC is scared stiff to state the obvious due to our forced very post-modernist way of thought for studio classes. Mellisas video was a convenient piece of shit, I honestly think her friend has Asperger's. But that would mean he would probably be of above normal intelligence so the jury is still out on that. His Drinking is never confronted witch is sad, it is not healthy. This project follows suit for Mellisa's' work, not a complement. The constant use of hand held is portrayed as sloth, and makes too much visual noise and look sloppy. This is also true for the state of editing at the time I last saw the project. Unimpressive to say the least.
